Solar Tax incentives

 

For Residential and Business systems, a 30% federal income tax credit is available on the purchase price of the solar photovoltaic system, in effect till 2016.

 

Property Tax
In the state of New Jersey, as of October 1, 2008, as per supplementing chapter 4 of Title 54 of the Revised Statutes, solar photovoltaic systems and certain other renewable energy systems including wind, geothermal, hydropower and others, are exempt from real property taxation.
